On April 11, 2022, the sixth Sports Culture Festival and "Agricultural University Cup" basketball match of Yunnan Agricultural University was held in the basketball court of east Campus. This competition is sponsored by Yunnan Agricultural University, yunnan Agricultural University student Affairs Office, school youth League committee, sports college. A total of 60 teams representing each college participated in the competition, divided into freshman and senior divisions. There were 18 teams each in the men's freshman and senior divisions, and 12 teams each in the women's freshman and senior divisions. The basketball match was held in response to the overall requirements of the epidemic prevention and control of the university, enriching students' after-school life during the epidemic period, cultivating hobbies, relieving students' anxiety caused by the epidemic, enhancing students' physical and mental health, improving students' comprehensive quality, and promoting communication between teachers and students of all colleges.
Lei Jianyi, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the university, kicked off the 12-day competition. The stadium was filled with screams and shouts as the crowd waved banners, banged gas sticks and cheered the players on as they struggled on the pitch. The leaders and teachers of all colleges were directing and cheering beside the basketball court. The cheerleaders' cries gave the players motivation and encouragement. The whole court was happy and the youth flew and the passion blossomed under the guidance of the campus basketball atmosphere.
